The wait is over as Samsung releases the much anticipated Galaxy Alpha followed with an official video. The carefully styled metal phone is just 6.7 mm slim, making it the slimmest Galaxy smartphone the Korean company has produced to date.
The latest Alpha flagship phone from Samsung weighs just 115g and boasts a 4.7″ Super AMOLED 720p resolution display screen. Packed with the company’s own Exynos 5 octa core processor ( quad 1.8Ghz and 1.3 GHz), a RAM size of 2GB and a non-expandable internal memory of 32GB, finger print scanner, 12MP camera and a 2.1MP front camera,
Other features include heart-rate sensor, Ultra Power Saver Mode, LTE Cat.6 connectivity and other regular Samsung apps like S Health. All this will work under a 1860mAh battery. The Galaxy Alpha will run the Android KitKat 4.4.4.
The phone will be rolled out into the market this coming September in more than 150 countries. It will also come in five different colors, oh, and with a price tag of about €600 (price might vary).

Samsung seems to be hot on the heels of Apple as this phone seems to be a proactive step towards battling the upcoming iPhone 6 in the market and it seems Samsung has done a pretty good job with this one, from the outside to the inside, thumbs up to them. Well, it will indeed be interesting to see how both phones will fare in the market when they are released.
