Honor, a Huawei-backed brand, is set to launch the Honor 30 smartphone on the 15th of April according to reports from Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo. This smartphone had been rumoured to feature Sony’s 50-megapixel IMX700 camera and now a new leak suggests that we may indeed see this powerful camera on the rear of the Honor 30.
The Honor 30 is expected to feature a quad-rear camera setup. The Honor 30 is also hinted to come with an octa phase-definition Autofocus feature and a periscope lens which was also seen in the Huawei P40 Pro.

A number of other things that the leaked render shows is that we may see a metal frame on the Honor 30, with antenna lines, a microphone on top of the frame and something that looks like an IR Blaster. This device may also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack which was absent in the Honor 20.
Honor has announced that the 30 series, made up of the Honor 30 and 30 Pro will launch on the 15th of April. It is expected that a number of more leaks pointing to the specs on this series will surface before its official launch in two weeks’ time.
