Nokia 700 and 701 – Symbian Belle devices – now shipping

Nokia 700 and 701 - Symbian Belle devices - now shipping 1

The first Symbian Belle devices are now shipping – the Nokia 700 and Nokia 701. The two devices run a 1GHz processor and sports an 8 MP, fixed focus camera with dual-LED flash.

Personally, I prefer the 701 with a 3.5″ IPS LCD display. The 700 has a 3.2″ AMOLED display and a 5 MP, fixed focus camera with LED flash.

I can tell you off the bat that Symbian Belle rocks, even on my 680 MHz processor N8, so imagine it on a 1GHz device. If you were considering these devices, go on, knock yourself out.

I’m sooooo not interested in these phones. EDof [fixed-focus] cameras are the main reason. Another is that none of them is up to 4″.

I’ll continue with my renewed Anna-N8 until Belle is officialy released for it. At least, I’m sure I’ll get it before E7, C7, C6-01, X7, and E6. 😉

The nokia 701 has been tagged ‘brightest phone in the world’. Interesting. I cant work with that screen size though. It must be greater or 4′. Another deal breaker for me is social integration (would have settled for the c7 or E6, but their lack lustre performance kills morale)….wonder if Belle fixed this
