I thought I would share a few photos of the R7 with you. It is quite big, as it has a 5.5-inch display. As mentioned earlier, TECNO has modified the graphics and user interface a bit.
Here is what the rop-down menu looks like:
TECNO has implemented dual-functionality here, such that the drop-down menu has two pages – one for notifications and the other for quick access to toggles and settings.
Also, when on the homescreen, hitting the menu button results in a horizontal menu at the bottom of the screen, providing fast access to Wallpaper, Theme, Add Apps/Widgets, Edit page and Settings:
Actually, the same can be achieved by swiping the bottom row of icons horizontally to the right. Swiping to the left gives access to music player controls.
The back cover of the TECNO R7 is a huge glossy, reflective fingerprint magnet. It is also handy as a quick mirror, and serves well for selfies too:
Yes; a selfie shot with two phones. Hehehe. More on the TECNO R7 to come soon, including a benchmark comparison. Yup; we need to see how that 6-core processor squares up. Cheers, mobilistas!
