Ventures Africa reports that shares of Starcomms have been suspended from trading on until the completion of the merger process with two other Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) operators, Multilinks and MTS First Wireless. The news item also states that the name of the new company will be CAPCOM. Finally, something concrete.
Update: The CAPCOM project failed to see the light of day, and all three telecom operators eventually ceased operations and died off.
