T-Mobile Cell Phone Service reviews on Best Company

Best Company was the first site that I visited. After scrolling through the site, I finally found reviews on T-Mobile’s cell phone service. The site had a 3.4 overall star rating on all the reviews, which is not bad. There were a lot of good reviews on this site. A lot of the praises were directed to their customer service and their phone plans. Here’s what a customer had to say about T-Mobile:

We’ve had T-Mobile for about 20 years. Their coverage has improved sooooo much since we started. We have a great “senior” 2-line plan that is hard to beat cost-wise. Every time I have called, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the caring and professionalism of the service rep. I highly recommend them.

Now, let’s talk about the not so good reviews, although a lot of customers praised their customer service, some of them were not happy with the customer service that they were getting. There were some complaints about their ‘out of country’ customer service, bad reception on phones, mistakes in charging of bills, false advertisement and false promotions. Here’s one:

They billed and charged me twice with two different amounts for final bill and would not correct it. in-addition, the advertisement about the 5G Wireless internet is a hype, it didn’t work as expected, and they sold me a booster they don’t have support for and gave me the run around when trying to work with them to fix the issue.

Will never come back to them and will always give bad reviews any chance I get throughout social media and my inner circle contacts as long as they are not willing to fix the issue, I am speaking from experience and have been with them for 14 years, and yet they would not refund any amount or be willing to solve the issue. T-Mobile Cell Phone Service reviews on Trustpilot

The next site I visited was Trustpilot and let me just say this, 84% of the reviews were bad reviews. I had to scroll for a while before I found a good review. The few good reviews i came across wrote about their good in-store customer service. Here’s one:

I purchased a new Cat 22 flip phone a few days ago. I had an issue with the talk to type feature, and the screen would not switch between portrait and landscape. My large hands and the small screen made texting impossible without these features. Colby , one of the reps at the T Mobile store on Maugens Ave. in Hagerstown fixed both issues in minutes after the rep in Waynesboro, Pa. T Mobile and the online chat people for T mobile didn’t have a clue what to do. The young man deserves a raise in pay.

Now, for the bad reviews, majority of the complaints were about false promotions, false advertisement, wrong billings and customer service. Here’s one of the reviews:

The worst 1 bar service and rudest service manager imaginable. They make you a 1/2 price offer on a new phone, (big mistake) and then charge you over full price. They change the “good” deal and you don’t have anyway to prove the deal you had accepted! (Source)

T-Mobile Cell Phone Service reviews on Consumer Affairs

The site Consume Affairs had an overall review star rating of 3 out of 5 stars. A lot of customers seemed to love their customer service and phone plans. A lot of them also stated that they had given T-Mobile bad reviews in the past, but T-Mobile had improved. Here’s a review:

Several years back, I gave T-Mobile a bad review. I must admit they have come a very long way since then. It was very frustrating back then, for my internet never worked when I needed it to most!!! While travelling or even travelling around Houston. One would have expected NOT to have that problem. So it is all fair I re-evaluate them. I am so proud of T-Mobile and stuck it out and glad I did!!! All consumers need to be careful with all phone companies….

I learned from trying to switch!!!! T mobile is the lesser evil by far!!!! Just make sure with phone and cable companies you DO NOT trust their employee’s words. Read All the print!!! It is your credit, they don’t mind screwing up if they (Verizon) lie, and you trust them…. And nobody holds them accountable for their lies.

And for the not so good reviews, there were complaints about being given false information by employees, not so good phone service and reception, complaints about customer care and false promotions. Here’s one:

T-Mobile are trained thugs. It’s unfortunate I was conned into their service through ** promotions that were changed once locked into service and then asked for proof after they had originally verified me during sign up. They also confirmed a iPhone I bought through IMEI number check and said they would be able to sign up service on my phone once I signed up the service.

Once I signed up and called to set up my iPhone, they said Ohh no we can’t set this phone up, it has a bad barcode! Then they conned me into purchasing a new iPhone and said we will credit you $400 dollars once you receive your new phone. This was another T-Mobile lie, they again after receiving the phone said we cannot honour our word, there is no way for us to apply a $400 dollar credit. (source)

Last Words

After readingthrough the numerous amount of reviews, I would say you should look for another cell phone service to use. The mention of false promotions and advertisement was a reoccuring statement in all the sites i visited and I pesonally dont think its worth finding out. If you still want to use T-Mobile’s cell phone service after reading this article, please do. After all, no company is perfect and it seems like T-Mobile has a lot of improvements to make.
