Apple and Android Tablets are supported on Smile’s 4G LTE network

Back in January, I did a post to present a number of 4G LTE devices that are available in the Nigerian market already. Now, Smile has officially put out a list of tablets that are supported on their 4G LTE network which I am currently trialling.

I am certain that smartphones are supported too, but are excluded from the list because Smile offers only data for now and not voice. Anyway, here is the list of devices that Smile has officially announced support for:

Smile 4G LTE tablets

You don’t have to buy any of the above tablets from Smile. Just buy your SIM, micro-SIM or Nano-SIM and insert in your own device, and you are good to go.

Mister Mobility

I started blogging about mobile in 2004 as a fun way to share my passion for gadgets and mobile services. My other interests include digital media, speaking and teaching, photography, travelling, and dancing.

Galaxy Note 8.0 N5100 won’t work. I’m sure you/ they’re referring to the LTE version. I use the N5100 (None LTE). Been tyring to sell this @ 65k (No show yet) so I could go for an LTE tab to use with Smile. I’ve tasted and see that their speed is unequalled. I live in Ibadan and have access to their big router not the Franklin WiFi modem you own.

I have an IPAd mini with LTE. I have been to SMILE’s headquarters and other SMILE shops in Ibadan. I was told that their LTE is band 20 and that my ipad mini couldn’t work on their network. I was advised to buy a MIFI device if I still desired to use their network.
