News has leaked out on the net- Apple’s making plans to stop production of the iPhone 5c come mid-2015. On September 2013, the 5c was launched together with the iPhone 5s. The former is made out of plastic, and hence its the cheapest iPhone currently available.
The move from Apple paves the way for a newer iPhone model come 2015, and with the 5c gone, all other models will carry the Touch ID feature and their usual metal designs. The 8GB model currently retails for about $450 off contract.
