  1. Wow. 😮😮 This phone is loaded. Well packed with necessary features. And I’m sure it’s going to be a liitle pricey, especially the 6GB RAM version. And I guess that’s why the also made provision for 3GB & 4GB RAMs, too.

    But, why is that new phones are always firstly lunched in India, especially?

    India is not our mates ni. In 2017, 134 million smartphones were sold in India. That was about 75% of Nigeria’s entire population.

    India has a population of over a billion people. India’s middle class alone is about 100 million people – that is half of Nigeria’s entire population. India is a big market with huge chuink of it viable for smartphone sales.

    Lastly, both USA and China, which are the only otyher two smartphone markets bigger than India, are largely saturated. Smartphone sales are dropping in those countires. So, India is the next frontier for any company looking to sell in large numbers.
