That cool new Material Design from Google is finding its way to more and more Android apps. The latest victim is Hangouts which has gotten the new look in the latest app update. Here at Mobility Arena, we are fans of Material Design and cannot wait to see it implemented on all apps.
But beyond look and feel, the Hangouts app also got some other enhancements in this update:
- filters for video calls
- support for stickers
- ‘Last seen’ status
- discovery via your registered number
Errr…is Hangouts ripping features off WhatsApp now?
Expect the update to arrive on your Android phone soon.
