You have heard of smartphones with 4,000 to 6,000 mAh batteries. Now, imagine a feature phone with a 10,000 mAh battery. Think of how long you can go on that. Then add a torch light to it. Then add the ability to charge other phones. Add pre-loaded social media apps such as Whatsapp, Facebook, and Twitter, along with GPRS internet capabilities.
Okay, I squirmed a bit when I got to “GPRS”. But cringe as some of you may, GPRS remains the only internet connection that millions of people have till today. Anyway, I digress. We are talking about a 10, 000 mAh battery power bank feature phone here. Internet connection speed isn’t the top worry of those this device is targeted at. Plus, keeping the radio pegged at low-speed GPRS means that users will get the best out of the humongous battery.
The manufacturer claims that the large battery ensures a standby time of 30 days and talk time of 10 days!
So, what phone is this? Imose is a Nigerian brand, and the model is Kampe. Imose Kampe. The phone dey kampe.
There’s a calendar too, and FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, memory card slot and dual SIM functionality. The display is an old school 1.8-inch, 320 x 240 pixel resolution job. There is a 1.3 megapixel camera. Not that you will be taking any great shots with it. But it could come in handy still.
This sounds like a second phone to carry for hiking, road trips, and other adventures out and about. Did I mention that it costs only N4,250?
Pls is this phone available for purchase? If yes, which outlets?
iWant… Where can it be gotten?? Pretty pls!!!
Hope twill b all round available not jes lag or online
The Imose Kampe is available fpe purchase from Konga,Jumia, and other retailers.
I cringe to imagine what the phone’s weight will max out at,that must be some hefty weight to lug about..
I know someone who would love this phone and doesn’t care for GPRS!
Wow. The price even beats some powerbank
Sigh… Are dey so small?.. Jumia them will require shipping n shii
Probably true.. But nothing good comes easy
Exactly.. If not all original power banks at that power rating
This one na power bank with phone functionalities..
Well, shipping shouldn’t be an issue. Plus shipping is free. Isn’t it?
True. This isn’t a phone. It’s a powerbank with a phone function.

Hi guys, apparently you are mistaken. The Kampe is a dual SIM Mobile Phone that has a 10000mAh battery capacity which allows it to be used simultaneously as a Powerbank.
Now, you should change your assertions. Thanks though!
I purchase Impose Kampe phone last week and the phone is not good at all, even the capacity of that phone cannot reached to 1000mah , the information that I saw on line that is given me encouragement to buy it on Jumia at the rate of #4’250, apart of the delivery transport #700 . I charge it very well for me to using it between 10 min. it was dischagered .
