Following the outrage that greeted the discovery that MTN was passing off its 4.5GB Night Plan as a new smartphone plan, the Y’hello network has modified the SMS sales pitch it sends out to subscribers.
The original message read:
Get 4.5GB Data for only N2,500 to browse, chat, download all day, all night.
Here is the new SMS:
The plan has not been changed in any way, it seems. Just the message. At least, subscribers now know exactly what they are signing up for.
