Lenovo s860

Lovers of great battery life on mobile will love the Lenovo S860. It is a 5.3-inch display Android smartphone with a 4000mAh battery. That is huge, and Lenovo is highlighting that as a key selling point. Here are a few other specs:

– 720 x 1280 pixels IPS display
– 1.3 GHz quad-core processor
– 2GB of RAM
– 8 megapixel camera with LED flash
– runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
– dual-SIM
– 4G LTE enabled
– 16 GB internal storage
– no microSD slot

The S860 is priced at $349 (N54,000).

Update

The S860 gets even better: not only does it have a beefy 4,000mAh battery, it is able to charge other phones and devices. Did I hear someone say this is a master stroke?

  1. With the apparent success of the Lenovo P870, I knew it was only a matter of time before they (or another manufacturer) stuck a similar sized battery in a phone.

like we have in that p780..which costs a whole lot less.

the downside. most likely. would be that it would not be svelte. it’s likely to be thick. and that’s not so cool..

  2. battery capacity asids, the specs are not spectacular, I’ll rather get a power bank (which I already have) than buy a phone just because it has a 4000 mAh battery

  3. If only I can confirm that this device has USB On-The-Go, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick this device over say the Tecno Phantom A3. I just hope that Lenovo will be launching this device in Nigeria and at close enough the price quoted here. That 2GB RAM is quite huge and the 4G hardware is good too.
