Xiaomi’s Redmi AirDots cross the 1 million sales mark

Earbuds are all the rave these days and Xiaomi is in the game with both Xiaomi AirDots and the ultra-cheap Redmi AirDots true wireless stereo earbuds. The latter have sold over a million units since its launch in April 2019.

The Bluetooth 5.0 Redmi AirDots cost about $19 now (and sell for around ₦7,790 on Jumia Nigeria).

Each earbud has a 40mAh battery and are charged by placing them in the supplied charging box, which itself has a 300mAh battery fitted, so you can charge the AirDots without a connection to the mains.

The Redmi AirDots support HFP, A2DP, HSP, and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles.
