One more thing! Look at these beautiful smartphones from an ex-Apple CEO

Back in October 2014, ex-Apple CEO John Sculley launched Obi Mobiles, a new smartphone brand. Obi Mobiles has since been active in the Middle East and Asia. Their target is the very market that Apple has ignored – the low-cost segment. Obi’s mission is to create and sell aspirational smartphones in the low end market. And it looks like they are on to something. Here are some of Obi Mobile’s offerings:

The S520 octopus is a 5-inch, Octa-core processor beast running Android Kitkat:

The S501 Wolverine is a Dual-core processor device with a leather-like cover, and also running Kitkat:

The S451 Falcon is a 4.5-inch, Dual-core device running Android Jelly Bean that looks like an Oppo N1 rip-off:

The above Obi smartphones have a minimum of 1GB RAM, have dual-SIM slots, and all support 3G.

Obi Mobiles has its base in Asia, but are also already active in the Middle East and have plans to launch in East Africa, Kenya being their first stop.
