Tecno Mobile To Launch 6 New Devices In April

Leading Chinese OEM Company, Tecno Mobile back again with something big! For the first times since it began operations, Tecno Mobile is going to be having a global launch in Nigeria. The main device to be launched is the Camon X and X pro, which happens to be the camera series of the brand. Rhe venue of the launch is at Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Islands on Thursday, 5th of April, 2018 starting at 4 pm.

The Camon X is expected to come with some juicy features like the 3GB RAM and 16GB, along with a face ID feature which according to rumours is faster than the fingerprint scanner. According to leaks from a reliable source, the front camera is a whopping 20 MP  with dual flash while the back camera is said to be 16 MP with ring flash. The device battery too stepped up, higher than the regular 3000mah we are used to. It is expected to be between 3500 – 4000mah.

The Camon X Pro is a variant of the Camon X and is expected to have slightly higher specs. The RAM according to rumours 4 GB and the internal memory is 64 GB. The front camera is 24 MP while the back camera is expected to still retain the 16 MP.

Alongside the Camon X and X Pro, Tecno Mobile is also said to be launching 4 new devices into the market. They are the POP 1, POP Pro, F1 an F2.These new devices would run on Android 8.1 (GO Edition) and are new sets of devices with no existing predecessors. They are in line with the agreement Tecno Mobile had with Google to make low-end devices that would run on Android Go Google is trying to push.

The new Android Go is a lite version of the Android designed for low-end devices. It also comes with other lite apps like the Youtube Go, Google GO, Facebook-lite etc.

    I’m familiar with the specs of the big once, let’s see what the smaller once have to offer. 6 phones in month Ahh Ahh. I guess that’s all for the year.
