The Road Is Full Of Bones

Posted by

The following lines were inspired by a conversation with a friend this morning. I set out to do some rhyming. Here’s hoping that I succeeded and that you enjoy the piece.

The Road Is Full Of Bones

bones on the road
Life is tough on its own
It can be tougher when walked alone
We must live according to what we know
But we need friends to share the road

All men are but flesh and bone
Who often struggle, sigh, and moan
Because the road is full of bones
We need more friends than foes

We all can attain to the throne
No-one needs be left alone
Why make life a combat zone
When we can achieve dreams untold?
