ZTE joins Lenovo in targeting Nigerian smartphone market

ZTE Grand S

Back in May 2013, I published Lenovo’s plans to introduce their mobile products in Nigeria before the end of 2013. Sadly, till date, we are yet to see their presence, and today is the last day of 2013. Another Chinese giant, ZTE has announced plans to sell its smartphones in Nigeria.

Like another mobile OEM, Huawei, ZTE has been very active in Nigeria on the telecoms equipment front. Like Huawei again, very little has been seen of the brand’s smartphones in the country.

I am into sales of mobile phones in Lokoja. I usually come all the way to Lagos to do my purchases. I wanted to inquire if u guys have a selling point in Abuja which is just about two hours drive from Lokoja so that I can start doing purchases there instead of traveling all the way to Lagos.
