Meizu has announced the Meizu Pro 7 and the Pro 7 Plus. These are the follow-up devices to the Pro 6 and Pro 6 Plus. Furthermore, these devices do not look like a lot of other phones. For one thing, Meizu added a screen to the back of the Pro 7. The screen does not cover the entire back of the phone, though. This secondary screen sits on the left-hand side of the rear panel. Right now, the size and resolution of the device have not been confirmed. However, reports suggest that it is an AMOLED screen. it shows notifications, the music player, the time, weather information and so on. It can also serve as a mirror for use with the back camera, and you don’t need to take selfies with the front camera.
Now, the difference between the Meizu Pro 7 and the Pro 7 Plus is the front screen. The Meizu Pro 7 has a 5.2-inch Super AMOLD screen with a 1,920×1,080 pixel display, while the Po 7 Plus has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2,560×1,440 pixel display. The other difference is in the memory. The Pro 7 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the Po 7 Plus has 6GB of RAM and a choice of 64GB or 128GB storage space. Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Helio P25. This chip supports dual cameras, which is also a feature of both phones. The front camera has 16 megapixels.
The Pro 7 Plus’s higher resolution screen requires a lager battery. Therefore, the Pro 7 Plus has a 3,500mAh battery, compared with the Pro 7’s 3,000mAh battery. It also has a more powerful charging system than the Pro 7. This charging system is not Meizu’s Super mCharge system, but mCharge 4.0, which is supposed to charge a battery from 0 to 67 percent in 30 minutes, using a new 5v/5a charger. It also keeps the temperature low for maximum efficiency. Finally, the Meizu Pro 7 has Android 7.0 installed, with Meizu’s Flyme user interface over the top.
Meizu has not announced a price for the Pro 7 or the Pro 7 Plus yet. However, reports state that the device will be released in September. The company’s main market is in China, but Meizu phones are also sold in parts of Europe and other counties around the world.
