The year 2016 has had its fair share of Nokia smartphone renders. See Is this the upcoming Android-powered Nokia smartphone? and New Nokia C1 render shows Android & Windows 10 variants.
As you already know, Nokia has confirmed that we will see their branded smartphones running Android OS in 2017. We have even highlighted what Nokia fans expect of a 2017 Nokia flagship.
With people around the world waiting with excitement for the product announcements to be made before the end of this year, there has been a lot of buzz around the brand of late. Last night, I came across some Nokia smartphone renders on Twitter and thought to share. Have a look:
As you can see, these renders have a curved edge screen. There is no way to confirm that these renders are authentic at this time.
However, the design is very striking and nicely reminiscent of what we saw in the last generation of Symbian smartphones from Nokia. Note how the top and bottom edges taper. In other words, while very up-to-date, these designs also bear the traditional Nokia design signature. This is all the more reason why I lean towards believing that they are the works of a Nokia enthusiast.
Still, there’s no harm in enjoying the renders and drooling and hoping to God that the real things to be announced are as good, if not better.
