Vivo has unveiled its latest 5G mid-range device in China. The Vivo Y51s shares a number of similarities with the Y70s like its 6.53-inch display, its 4,500mAh battery and its Exynos 880 5G chipset.
The Vivo Y51s has a punch hole display that houses an 8MP selfie camera in the top left corner and boasts an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In the back, a 48MP main camera headlines the triple camera setup and it is assisted by a 2MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor that take care of photography duty. Video recording is available at 4K resolution.
Under the hood, the Exynos 880 5G keeps this smartphone ticking. It also has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. On the software front, the device runs the Funtouch OS 10.5 over the Android 10.
Its 4,500mAh battery supports charging at 18W and can keep this device powered all day. The Vivo Y51s is currently available in Black, white and blue colours and sells for $256 for the single variant (6GB+128GB).
The device is up for reservations and should go on sale from the 29th of July 2020 in China.
