Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been released at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 Part 2 virtual event. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bigger, flexible display that can fold in two. It presents a number of upgrades over the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip, while offering triple rear cameras and wireless charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 runs the Android 10 operating system with OneUI 2.5 on top. It is built around a 7.6-inch full-HD+ (1,768×2,208 pixels) foldable, Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 22.5:18 aspect ratio. Also, a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Flex Display with 816×2,260 pixels resolution and a 25:9 aspect ratio is on the cover.
Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC keeps this device ticking. It is hooked to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage that does not offer any means for expansion.
In the camera department, three rear cameras take care of photography, with a 12MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) headlining the setup. This snapper is assisted by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 12MP telephoto camera. It features 10MP selfie cameras on both cover screen and main display.
It packs a 4,500mAh battery which supports fast charging, wireless charging and Wireless PowersShare. This device is available in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colour options, with pre-orders kicking off currently in select markets.
