The first ever Windows 10 Mobile smartphone to be announced is the Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime. Yes; it sounds so transformer-ish. Cherry Mobile is Philippines’ biggest local mobile phone brand.

The Alpha Prime will come in two variants: Alpha Prime 4 with 4-inch screen, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage; and the Alpha Prime 5 with a 5-inch screen, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Clearly low-end devices. Both devices are LTE 4G models though. Details of availability are not available yet.
