Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro Launched with Exynos 1080 SoC, 120Hz Displays

The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro smartphones have launched in China as the newest flagship devices from the company. These smartphones are seen as the predecessors to the X50 series which launched earlier this year. Both smartphones have the Exynos 1080 chipset under the hood, bringing some of the latest in terms of processor technology.

 

Vivo X60

The Vivo X60 is built around a 6.56-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) AMOLED display with a 19.8:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the octa-core Exynos 1080 SoC is hooked to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. This smartphone runs Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top.

In the optics department, a triple rear camera setup takes care of business, with a 48MP primary sensor headlining this setup. It is assisted by a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 13MP portrait camera. Up front, a 32MP snapper takes care of selfies and video calls. The Vivo X60 boasts a 4,300mAh battery that supports fast charging at 33W.

Connectivity options available for this device include 5G, 4G LTE, and a USB Type-C port to name a few. It weighs 176.2 grams and measures 159.63×75.01×7.36 mm.

Vivo X60 Pro

This Vivo X60 Pro launched with Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top. It also has the same display as the X60 and is powered by the octa-core Exynos 1080 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

This smartphone features an enhanced quad-rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera alongside a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, a 13MP portrait sensor and an 8MP periscope shooter. Up front, a 32MP camera takes care of video calls and selfies. The Vivo X60 Pro launched with a smaller battery pack, bringing boasts a 4,200mAh battery with fast charging support at 33W.

Connectivity options for this device include a 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port for charging. This device weighs 178 grams and measures 158.57×73.24×7.59 mm.

 

The Vivo X60 is available at CNY 3,498 ($536) for the 8GB+128GB variant, the 8GB+256GB model costs CNY 3,798 ($582) and the high end 12GB+256GB costs CNY 3,998 ($612). It is available in Purple, Grey, and White colors.

The Vivo X60 Pro is priced at CNY 4,498 ($689) for the 12GB+256GB variant and should be available for pre-orders from the 8th of January in China. Although the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro launched recently, Vivo has teased the launch of the X60 Pro+, but there is nothing concrete yet on that front.
