Vivo Y20 and Y20i Launch With 5,000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 460 SoC

Vivo has launched the Vivo Y20 and Y20i as the newest additions to the company’s growing collection of devices. Both smartphones share the same specifications, with the only difference being the RAM storage and varying color options.

Both smartphones are built around a 6.51-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) IPS resolution display. They both run the Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10.5 and have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset under the hood.

Vivo Y20 And Y20i Launched In India

On the storage front, the Vivo Y20 has a 4GB RAM that is paired with 64GB of onboard storage, this storage can be expanded via microSD card to 256GB. The Vivo Y20i, on the other hand features 3GB of RAM which is paired with 64GB of onboard storage (expandable via microSD card to 256GB).

In the camera department, both smartphones wield three rear cameras and a selfie camera. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 13MP main camera that is assisted by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, an 8MP selfie shooter takes care of video calls and selfie duty.

A 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support keeps this device powered all day. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi and more.

Price point for the Vivo Y20 is placed at $175, and it is available in Dawn White and Obsidian colors. The Y20i costs $155 and offers Nebula Blue and Dawn White color options.

These smartphones are expected to go on sale in India from the 28th of August (for the Y20) and the 3rd of September for the Y20i. There is no report yet concerning when both smartphones will reach other regions.
