The Vivo Y50 smartphone, another flagship device from Vivo has been launched. This device which was recently spotted on the Google Play Console has made its debut in Cambodia. A Facebook post on the company’s official account also state that pre-orders will be available for this device till the 11th of April.
The Vivo Y50 features a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a 1080×2340 pixels FHD+ resolution. The device is expected to have the Snapdragon 665 SoC under the hood, which will bring 8GB RAM in tandem with 128GB onboard storage. The device may also have a 6GB RAM variant as seen on Google Play listings.
The Vivo Y50 features four rear cameras which have a 13-megapixel main camera alongside an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter, a 2-megapixel portrait lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The display houses a hole-punch in the top left corner where the selfie camera can be seen. As at the time of this article, there are no confirmations regarding the specs of the selfie camera.
This budget smartphone from Vivo packs a powerful 5,000mAh battery which supports fast charging at 18W. The phone comes in Iris Blue and Starry Black colours and is available for pre-order for around $249. There is no word yet regarding the availability of this budget device to other markets, especially with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic ravaging many parts of the world.
