Xiaomi’s Black Shark 3 Pro Gaming Smartphone Features Pop-Up Shoulder Buttons, Now Available For Pre-orders

Xiaomi introduced its Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone last year to good reviews from users and gamers alike. The phone was known for its pressure-sensitive display that gave gamers more control in-game.

The new Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro has gone a step further by taking things off the screen with physical pop-up shoulder buttons. When gaming, users can decide to choose the two, 21-millimeter-wide buttons that are raised 1.5 millimeters from the device’s body. The buttons are believed to be durable enough to withstand over a million clicks.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro comes with a 7.1-inch, 3,120 × 1,440 AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. Featuring a 270Hz touch sampling rate, this device is more responsive to your finger taps, letting gamers control their characters effectively in-game.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro comes with an incredible 5,000 mAh battery, 256GB of internal memory and also has two variants, an 8GB RAM version and a 12GB RAM version. The device has a Snapdragon 865 chipset under the hood and supports 5G technology.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro 8GB variant can be gotten for $675 with the 12GB variant coming in at $718. The device is now available for pre-order on the Black Shark mall online.
